What is YOYO Loyalty?

How do I install and set up YOYO Loyalty?

Does YOYO Loyalty work with my Shopify theme?

Yes. YOYO Loyalty works with any Shopify theme. Its loyalty page and displays use Shopify theme app extensions, so they render natively in your storefront and inherit your brand colors and fonts without editing theme code.

How long does it take to launch a loyalty program with YOYO?

How much does YOYO Loyalty cost?

YOYO Loyalty has four plans: Free ($0/month, up to 100 paid orders), Essential ($20/month, up to 500 paid orders), Growth ($50/month, up to 2,000 paid orders), and Enterprise ($100/month, unlimited paid orders). Paid plans include a 7-day free trial and can be billed monthly or annually, with annual billing saving about 20%.

Is YOYO Loyalty free?

Yes. YOYO Loyalty has a free plan for stores with up to 100 paid orders per month. It includes a loyalty program, wishlist, a referral program with a landing page and popup, win-back emails, signup and first-order reward popups, and multi-language displays. Paid plans add more features and higher order limits.

Is there a free trial on paid plans?

Yes. Every paid plan (Essential, Growth, and Enterprise) includes a 7-day free trial. You are not charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before then.

Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel my plan at any time?

Yes. You can change or cancel your YOYO Loyalty plan at any time from the app. Billing runs through Shopify, so changes are prorated and there are no long-term contracts.

How does the points and rewards program work?

Customers earn points for actions such as placing orders, signing up, leaving reviews, celebrating a birthday, and referring friends. They redeem points for rewards like discounts, free shipping, free products, or store credit. You control all earning rules and redemption options from the YOYO Loyalty dashboard.

What are VIP tiers and how do they work?

VIP tiers are loyalty levels (for example Silver, Gold, and higher) that customers reach by earning points or spending. Each tier can grant automatic perks such as bonus point multipliers, order discounts, free shipping, and exclusive rewards, which encourages customers to spend more to reach the next tier.

How does the referral program work?

Existing customers share a referral link with friends. The referred friend gets a discount on their first order, and the referrer earns a reward once that order is placed. Referrals come with a landing page and popup so customers can share easily.

Can I customize YOYO Loyalty to match my brand?

Yes. You can customize the loyalty page, on-site displays, colors, and branding so the program looks like a native part of your store rather than a generic widget.

Is YOYO Loyalty available in multiple languages?

Yes. YOYO Loyalty supports multi-language displays, so your loyalty page and on-site widgets can be translated for international customers across all displays.

Does YOYO Loyalty work with Shopify POS and in-store purchases?

Yes. YOYO Loyalty supports Shopify Point of Sale, so customers can earn and redeem rewards both online and in your physical store from one connected loyalty program.

How do customers join the loyalty program?

Joining is free. Customers create an account or log in on your store and are enrolled in the rewards program automatically, with no separate signup step required.

How do customers earn points?

Customers earn points for actions you enable, such as placing orders, creating an account, referring friends, leaving reviews, and celebrating a birthday. Active ways to earn appear in the loyalty panel on your storefront.

How do customers redeem points?

Customers open the loyalty panel on your store, choose a reward such as a discount, free shipping, free product, or store credit, and the discount code applies at checkout. The reward stays in their account until they use it.

Where can customers see their points balance and rewards?

Customers can see their points balance, available rewards, and VIP progress on the loyalty page and loyalty panel within their store account at any time.

Do loyalty points or rewards expire?

By default, rewards do not expire and customers can use their discount codes whenever they like. If you choose to add an expiry period, the time remaining is shown to customers in the loyalty panel.

Why is a customer not earning points?

The most common reason is being signed in with a different email than the one used at checkout. Points for a purchase are credited once the order is confirmed, so they may take a short time to appear. If points are still missing, contact support and they will resolve it.

What happens to points if a customer returns or cancels an order?

If an order is refunded or cancelled, the points earned on that order are removed. If the customer had already redeemed a reward, that reward is not automatically restored. Merchants control this behavior from the dashboard.

Can customers combine a loyalty reward with another discount code?

Loyalty rewards are issued as Shopify discount codes, so they follow your store’s discount rules. In most setups only one discount code can be applied per order, meaning a reward code generally can’t be stacked with another code at the same time.

Is it free for customers to join the loyalty program?

Yes. Joining the program and earning rewards is always free for your shoppers — the plan pricing applies only to you as the merchant.
